Bowler takes six wickets for no runs in Atlantic cricket

ALLROUNDER Shatruham Rambaran ensured Clarke Rochard Government opened the 2010 Atlantic LNG Primary School’s Super League with a win against Sangre Grande Hindu School. Rambaran took six wickets without conceding a run from 3.1 overs with his off-break to dismiss Sangre Grande Hindu for 35 runs. He was assisted by Nicholas Morgan who took two for eight to ensure Clarke Rochard Government to complete a crushing 81-run victory.

Earlier, Clarke Rochard batting first made a competitive total of 116. Rambaran top scored with 23 runs and Morgan made 22. There were also wins for Preysal Government and Rochard Douglas with the match between St Pius and Rancho Quemado being abandoned due to heavy rainfall.
