MAY PEN, Clarendon, Jamaica — Juici Patties need only a point from their game against Young's Pharmacy on Wednesday at Mineral Heights to formalise their place in the semi-finals of the Clarendon/Tait's Pharmacy Business House Football Competition. Juici pipped Transport Services 1-0 on Sunday to extend their 100 per cent win record to five games and maintained their stronghold on Zone Two with 15 points.
They are being closely policed by Sinclair's Bargain Centre (12 points), who also registered a 1-0 win over Courts.
In other results from the zone, Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) blanked May Pen Hospital 3-0 for the widest margin of victory on the day, while Young's and Epic Hardware ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
Former Zone One leaders May Pen Fire Brigade (nine points) were relegated to third place after suffering a 1-2 defeat to Jamaica Public Service (JPS).
The new leaders on goal difference are Mack Rebuilders (11 points), who spanked Stewart's Hardware 3-1. They share the top spot with Government Agencies, who outscored Glass and Windows 3-2 in a five-goal thriller.
In the other games on for Wednesday at Mineral Heights, Mack Rebuilders oppose Government Agencies, Carryshell tackle Fire Brigade and May Pen Hospital play Courts.
